RDR2 Advanced Haptics is a lightweight ASI plugin that enhances immersion in Red Dead Redemption 2 by adding custom haptic feedback for horse riding and player movement.
Designed specifically for DualSense users running DSX with Rumble-to-Haptics enabled, this mod transforms standard vibration into rhythmic feedback patterns that better represent hoof impacts, movement momentum, and speed changes. Connection with bluetooth is allowed.
Instead of relying on constant vibration, the system uses carefully tuned pulse sequences to create a more natural and immersive feeling while exploring the world of Red Dead Redemption 2.
The mod also includes a built-in Gun Block System that automatically pauses custom haptics during aiming, targeting, and shooting to maintain compatibility with weapon recoil vibration mods.

Installation Instructions
Install ScriptHookRDR2.
Copy the included .asi file into your Red Dead Redemption 2 game directory.
Launch DSX.
Enable “Rumble To Haptics” in DSX and intensity to 8 (or what you like).
Start the game.
