Long Classic Frock Coat gives the vanilla Classic Frock Coat a significantly longer silhouette while preserving its original style and natural cloth behavior.
Its shape, length and movement have been designed and tested for natural physics performance, especially in a satchel-free setup.
Three alternative options are included:
– JUST PHYSICS
New length and physics while preserving the original vanilla materials and color variants.
– FANCY WOOL
New length and physics with a refined wool-oriented material treatment.
– LET’S GO LEATHER
New length and physics with a leather material treatment featuring a broader range of classic leather tones.
IMPORTANT – CHOOSE ONLY ONE
The three options are NOT compatible with each other.
Enable only ONE option in LML Manager and keep the other two disabled. You can switch between them whenever you like.
SAVE YOUR MOD LIST IN LML MANAGER AFTER EVERY SWITCH.
INSTALLATION
1. Extract the folders included in LONG FROCK COAT.zip and place them into your LML directory.
2. Enable your preferred option in LML Manager and disable the other two.
3. Place the three options at the very bottom of your LML load order.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
FANCY WOOL and LET’S GO LEATHER introduce their own material and color variations while retaining the new length and physics of the coat.
FANCY WOOL replaces three vanilla color variants — Navy Blue, Dark Grey and Dark Brown — with new versions. These replacements were selected among vanilla variants that were visually repetitive, allowing for a broader and more distinctive selection without unnecessarily sacrificing existing variety.
LET’S GO LEATHER replaces six vanilla variants in order to offer a wider spectrum of classic leather tones.
No variants included in MERGE files have been replaced. This was deliberately avoided in order to minimize interference with other mods and preserve compatibility as much as possible.
For this reason, some variants may not exactly match the color shown in the in-game menu palette.
COMPATIBILITY
This mod is specifically based on the VANILLA Classic Frock Coat meshes.
The purpose of this release is to modify the length and physics behavior of the vanilla coats. It does NOT currently include adaptations for coat variants introduced or modified by other clothing mods.
Adaptations for mods such as CI or GI may be developed in the future.
The vanilla-focused approach is intentional, allowing the mod to alter the original coats without unnecessarily modifying files used by other mods.
