Inspired by the GTA V “Watch Your Death” mod, this mod lets you experience your character’s death in a more immersive and cinematic way without interrupting gameplay.
Features
Dynamic Death System: Instead of transitioning to the standard death screen, your character immediately enters a natural physics-based ragdoll state the moment their health reaches a fatal level. As soon as the fake death state begins, any active bounty is cleared and lawmen will instantly stop pursuing you.
Rise Again: Once you’ve finished watching the aftermath, simply hold the designated **Rise Again** key to revive your character exactly where they fell. No loading screens, no respawns, and no loss of momentum.
Suicide Option: Instantly trigger your character’s death with a dramatic explosive effect.
Orbital Free Camera: While your character is ragdolling or lying on the ground, freely rotate the camera around the body using your mouse or controller’s right stick.
Installation instruction and requirement:
1. Make sure you’ve installed ScriptHookRDR2 V2 first (see Requirement).
2. Download this mod and unzip it.
3. Copy WatchAfterlife.asi
into your main Red Dead Redemption 2 game folder – the same folder that contains RDR2.exe and ScriptHookRDR2.dll
4. Launch the game and load into Story Mode.
To uninstall, just delete:
WatchAfterlife.asi from your game folder.
