
Disables the annoying witness that spawns when the player is robbing a shop
RDR2 hard-codes a witness into existence whenever you rob a shop, regardless of whether anyone could realistically have seen you.
Even if you’re alone in the store with the door closed, the game just decides someone witnessed it. This mod disables that.
How it works
While you’re inside a shop, any NPCs nearby are quietly prevented from reacting to your actions as a crime.
If a shopkeeper notices you threatening them, the surrounding witnesses are calmed down and their panic is interrupted so they don’t run off or raise your wanted level.
When you leave the store, there’s a short grace period during which the suppression lingers, giving you a clean getaway before everything returns to normal.
Installation
Put NoScriptedWitness.asi and NoScriptedWitness.ini in your game’s root folder.

The .ini lets you choose whether the mod runs when the player or the clerk are shooting.
