Simple mod that fixes a leftover bug in the PC port where pressing ‘F’ to intimidate or beat a robbery victim forces an instant execution on Keyboard & Mouse.
Explanation of the vanilla bug & fix
This mod fixes a leftover bug that Rockstar didn’t fix or notice. I don’t think many users notice this bug, but for some reason while using keyboard and mouse on PC, pressing ‘F’ during an armed grapple result in an execution. While controller players can safely press the melee button to perform grapple attack and intimidate targets during a robbery, when same thing is done on Keyboard & Mouse player just performs and execution. This mod fixes this problem.
Prompt Translation
Since the mod creates a custom “execute” prompt, the mod gets the users game language and automatically translates “execute” to the target language.
Installation
– Download and install Alexander Blade’s ScriptHook RDR2 or Script Hook V2.
– Drop the extracted mod files into your main Red Dead Redemption 2 root directory.
