This is not a typical companion mod. This one is fully combat-focused.
Tested on the latest RDR2 PC build available as of December 2025.
Controls & Activation:
This mod uses F10 to spawn Penelope and F10 again to despawn.
Settings:
Inside elitcompanion.ini
Language → Select the language the mod will use. Currently only English, Portuguese and Indonesian are available.
Notification → Toggles whether the mod shows or hides all on-screen notifications.
SpawnCompanion → Sets the hotkey used to spawn or despawn Penelope and Faithful.
Installation:
1. Make sure you have ScriptHookRDR2.dll and dinput8.dll installed in your Red Dead Redemption 2 installation folder. Download ScriptHookRDR2 V2.
2. Place elitecompanion.asi and elitecompanion.ini in your Red Dead Redemption 2 installation folder. The same directory where RDR2.exe is located.
3. Load the game and press F10 to spawn Penelope.
Notes:
Penelope’s aggressive behavior may interfere with story missions.
It’s recommended to despawn her before starting a mission.
