This mod spawns any train configuration (mission trains, etc.) you want around the world. Every train configuration can be robbed and acts exactly like natural trains on the map.
This is a script that I’ve been working on for a long time. Initially, it was requested by Kaiseravh to solve the ambient train spawn issues caused by heavy mod loads or uncompressed texture mods. He patiently tested all the versions I created and is the primary reason this mod exists.
For a long time, I could only spawn trains via script, but I couldn’t make them use the base game’s trainrobbery_ambient.c
script, which is what makes trains fully rob-able. After a long process of trial and error, I finally figured out how to bind them together.
While this mod is a great solution for those struggling with train spawn issues, it is primarily designed for everyone. Even if you don’t have spawn problems, this mod allows you to experience a wide variety of custom train configurations spawning naturally across the world. Being a possible solution to the spawn bugs is just an extra. Trains might still miss passengers even though the train itself spawns, if you already have spawn issues.
Installation
– Drag and drop Ambient Train Spawner.asi and Ambient Train Spawner.ini to Red Dead Redemption 2 folder.

ShowDebug=1 (Writes useful information on the screen like when a train is despawned, it’s distance etc. It also allows you to manually spawn a random train by pressing F9).
