Welcome to the Silver Spine! The Silver Spine accumulates beautiful forestry with man made structures to encompass this large-scale nature center set in Japan. Typically the center does not allow motor vehicles on the bike path but to commemorate the grand opening for the season, we have made some exceptions.
This map has two layouts, one for driving and one for photos (by popular demand). The one built for photos has many view blockers removed and has upgraded lighting, shadows and tree LODs to make your photos absolutely perfect. The main track layout has these blockers in place simply due to the fact that cars are always in view and this is the best way to occlude cars not needing to be rendered.
Once again, PPL’s SLX has pulled through with revision 3 of the beloved Go/NoGo wall, this time taking on a more realistic look to fit the more realistic look of this course.
Thank you to everyone that was a part of the DMI pre-release sessions and all the testers that worked with me on working out the kinks on this map. It has certainly gone through it’s fair share of changes but I love how this map turned out and I cannot wait to drive it in some packed lobbies with you all! And once again, Thank you to all the patrons that have been extremely patient with me on getting this map out, I hope to continue to give a reason for supporting me in this hobby!
