Mexico Camp and Save V1.0

This mod lets you load into Mexico and return to Mexico on reload, camp freely anywhere in Mexico, and fast travel between Mexican locations.

Mexico Camp & Save is a mod focused on enhancing the gameplay experience in the Mexico area. It lets you build fully functional camps anywhere in Mexico, fast travel between towns on the Mexico , and return to Mexico when loading a save or restarting the game.

Main Features:
Camp in Mexico:
Camp in the Mexico area: Press the O key (configurable in the ini file) then press Enter to set up camp. This only works in Mexico. You will be teleported to a campsite and the camp will be built.
Camping restrictions: You cannot camp while in combat; eliminate all enemies first.
Horse accompanies you: When camping, your horse is teleported next to you; when fast traveling, the horse teleports with you.
Fast travel menu: Press the fast travel key (default F5, configurable) to open the menu and fast travel to Escalera, Chuparosa, Las Hermanas, Agave Viejo, Casa Madrugada, El Matadero, Butter Bridge.
Keep camp: The camp can be saved and restored after restarting the game.
Customizable keys: Edit MexcioCamp.ini to change the camp key and fast travel key.
Save position on loading/restarting:
Loading in Mexico: You will be teleported to the nearest save point in Mexico. The same applies when restarting the game.
Dying in Mexico: You will be teleported to the nearest save point in Mexico from where you died, same as loading.
Notes (read this!): After loading in Mexico or being teleported back to Mexico after death, the camera may stretch / ultra-wide angle. Simply press any key and move to restore normal.When camping in Mexico, sometimes you may get stuck sitting on a chair or bed and cannot get up. Press Space to stand up. If Space doesn’t work, hold Space for 3 seconds to force clear your current action. (This only works within 12 seconds after setting up camp. If you don’t press Space within those 12 seconds, you won’t be able to get up! If you really can’t get up, you can load a save to fix it.). If you fast travel from Mexico to the main world (original game areas) and then load or die, you will return to Mexico. This cannot be solved currently, because the mod’s core logic detects an abnormal departure from Mexico and sends you back if you save at a main-world checkpoint.
