OnYourKnees is a lightweight script mod that allows Arthur or John to force hogtied NPCs into an upright kneeling hostage posture.
CONTROLS & HOW TO USE
Lasso and hogtie any human NPC.
Walk up to them on foot.
Look at the bottom-right HUD prompt cluster — you will see Force Kneel [H].
Press [H] on keyboard (or D-Pad Down on controller).
The captive will move upright into a kneeling hostage stance.
CHECK REQUIREMENTS BEFORE INSTALLATION
Installation:
Download OnYourKnees.asi and place it into the same root game directory.
Launch the game. That’s it!

KNOWN PROBLEMS & LIMITATIONS
Please read this before reporting bugs — this mod is an initial release and has a few known quirks with the game engine:
Rope is not visible: When the NPC is kneeling, their hands are positioned behind their back, but the rope is not visible. Adding a rope prop or entity causes visual bugs and physics clipping with RDR2’s skeletal rig.
Kneeling animations can be janky: The hostage kneeling animations can sometimes look stiff, snap abruptly, or clip slightly depending on uneven terrain, steep hills, or specific NPC models.
NPCs occasionally break free: Sometimes NPCs get up and start running. If you hogtie them a second time, you may not be able to make them kneel again.
