A lightweight script that adds another option to dismounting. With this mod installed you’re not just limited to dismount to left and right. Now you can dismount to rear. Thanks to PixieV – Jewels for this great idea.
[Installation]
– Drop the RearDismount.asi and RearDismount.ini to your Red Dead Redemption 2 folder.

– The mod offers 4 control mode for to trigger the rear dismount which can be changed through the config file.

Choose how you want to trigger the backwards dismount:
1 = Hold S + Hold E (Hold both keys S first and then E)
2 = Hold S + Press E (Quick, but overrides the default S+E dismount animation)
3 = Double Tap E (Pressing S is not required, but it adds a 0.15s delay to regular dismounts to detect the second tap)
4 = Hold S (longer) + Press E (Hold S for 0.15s and then press E)
A quick S+E performs a normal vanilla dismount. Holding 0.15s pressing E triggers the rear dismount.
