The third in the Salamander and Twintail family from WH Industries. On release of the Gila Monster, famed shipping magnate Walter Stroud declared “There’s nothing new here, its just more of the same from them. Clearly they’ve run out of ideas and anyone looking for something new should be heading stright to the nearest Stroud-Eklund showroom.”
In reply, the CEO of WH Industries was reported to have said “Walter, dude, have you even looked at the ships your company builds?” Nonetheless, public perception that WH Industries preferred “Cabot” style cockpit was limiting their design direction lead the company to declare that this would be the last ship in this family.
The Gila Monster is a multipurpose, Class C ship with ample opportunities for upgrades. Available from the New Atlantis spaceport from player level 20, its built without glitch techniques, making servicing and repair straightforward for the novice spaceship builder.
Requires Ship Vendor Framework.
