Comfortably Now is a lightweight standalone .ASI that allows you to dynamically hide visual equipment elements that may interfere with cleaner outfits, cinematic immersion or relaxed free roam gameplay.
You can individually hide:
• Satchel
• Knife sheath
• Secondary holster
• Gunbelt + Primary Holster
• Suspenders
The purpose of this mod is simple:
Give the player full control over how much gear Arthur or John visually carry at any given moment.
Because there are situations where you simply do not need to carry your entire life on your body.
REQUIREMENTS
• Alexander Blade ScriptHookRDR2 or ScriptHookRDR2 V2
No additional dependencies required.
INSTALLATION
Drag and drop into your main Red Dead Redemption 2 directory.

HOW THE CHOICES WORK
The included HideAtYourChoice.ini file allows full customization.
• 1 = hides the selected element
• 0 = keeps the selected element visible
Changes that imply hiding can be refreshed faster by pressing F8
Restored elements become fully visible again after any outfit reload event, such as:
• Wardrobe usage
• Horse outfit switching
• Bathing
• Barber
• Other in-game outfit refresh situations
Changes remain permanent upon new changes are applied in HideAtYourChoice.ini
This behavior helps preserve game stability while keeping the system extremely lightweight.
GOOD TO KNOW
· After changing any value inside HideAtYourChoice.ini, make sure to save the file so the changes can be applied correctly.
· Do not hesitate if you see the hidden equipment while in a wardrobe or while at the wardrobe’s store … Hidden choices will be applied shortly after with no required actions.
· The .ini file can be edited and saved while the game is running. No restart required.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Hidden equipment is still fully functional.
Even if you cannot visually see:
• your satchel,
• your knife,
• your holsters,
the gameplay systems remain intact.
You can still:
• use weapons,
• collect items,
• store pelts and resources,
• and play normally.
This mod only affects visual appearance.

Long coat redesign optimized for satchel-free gameplay.
The combination of hidden satchels and redesigned coat physics creates a much cleaner silhouette and significantly reduces clipping issues during gameplay and horse riding.
You may also combine it with your own outfit overhauls and clothing mods for more cinematic or immersive character presets.
