Transform Arthur into an eagle with F7 and explore Red Dead Redemption 2 from the sky, with stamina management, proportional cooldown, a custom yellow bar and a dust transformation effect.
IMPORTANT WARNING ABOUT HORSES
This mod will remove your main horse during transformation and replace it with a standard horse.
If you are attached to your current horse, do not use this mod on your main save.
This behavior comes from the way Red Dead Redemption 2 handles player model transformations, returning to Arthur and horse ownership. I tried several ways to avoid this issue, but for now, I cannot fully fix it.[/b]
Eagle Transformation allows Arthur to take the form of an eagle and explore the world of Red Dead Redemption 2 from the sky.
This mod was mainly made for free roam, exploration, hunting, long distance travel and easter egg hunting. It is not meant to replace the normal game experience, but to offer another way to travel across the world with a freer and wilder feeling.
Press F7 to transform into an eagle. To use the transformation, Arthur needs a high stamina core and a full stamina bar. Once transformed, Arthur becomes a playable eagle.
While playing as the eagle, press the jump button to take off. When you are close to the ground, press the jump button again and the eagle will try to land. You can also press F7 at any time to return to Arthur manually.
Be careful when flying. You are not invincible as an eagle. If you crash into trees, rocks, buildings or the ground, you can die. Choose your takeoff and landing area carefully. Do not transform back into Arthur too high above the ground either, because fall damage can kill you.
You can also transform while falling. If Arthur is in the air and the conditions are met, pressing F7 can turn him into the eagle and allow you to fly away directly.
While in eagle form, Arthur’s stamina core slowly drains. When the stamina core becomes too low, the mod automatically forces Arthur back to human form. After each use, a proportional cooldown starts. The longer you stay as the eagle, the longer the cooldown will be. This cooldown can be reduced when Arthur’s stamina core recovers.
The mod includes a custom yellow bar that shows the current state of the transformation, stamina or cooldown. The bar automatically hides when the game HUD is hidden, during cinematics, screen fades or when the pause menu is open.
A dust effect is also triggered when Arthur transforms into the eagle, giving the transformation a more visible and natural feel.

Recommended Use
This mod is mainly recommended for free roam, exploration, hunting, open world travel and easter egg hunting.
During missions, it is better to mount a horse before starting or continuing an important mission. I noticed that several mission bugs are caused by the horse state after transformation. Mounting a horse before missions helps reduce some of these problems.
I was able to finish the game with this mod, but it is more stable when used mainly in free roam.
Known Issues
This mod replaces your main horse with a standard horse during transformation. Do not use it on your main save if you are attached to your horse.
After returning from eagle form, the horse may sometimes become stuck or refuse to move properly. If this happens, briefly press the aim button without any weapon equipped. The horse controls should return to normal.
Some bugs may happen during missions or heavily scripted areas, especially if you transform or land directly inside an area meant for a scene, mission or scripted event.
If a bug happens during a mission, simply reload from the checkpoint.
Installation
1. Install ScriptHookRDR2 with a working ASI Loader.
2. Place the .asi file in your Red Dead Redemption 2 main folder.
3. Launch the game in Story Mode.
4. Press F7 when the stamina conditions are met.
