A standalone black retexture for the Trapper special saddles.
This mod gives the Trapper saddles a darker black leather look while keeping the original saddle designs, details, stitching, fur, tooling, and overall vanilla style. It was made for players who want the black saddle look without installing the full Black Gear and Outfit Overhaul.
This is a standalone release and does not require my outfit/gear overhaul. A Read Me file is included with filename information for each saddle, so individual textures can be removed easily.
Important Notice
This mod is a texture-only recolor and does not edit shop_items.ymt. Because of the particular tint/color textures used by these saddles, they do not respond like standard albedo textures. I did my best to get every saddle as close to black as possible while keeping the original texture detail and avoiding broken, muddy, or overly flat results. A few pieces may still lean slightly dark brown depending on lighting, and the Boar blanket has a bluish-grey tone that I was not able to make fully black despite many tests. This is a limitation of the way these saddle/blanket textures are set up. I chose not to edit the YMT files so the mod can remain simple, lightweight, and compatible with most other mods.

Compatibility
Since this mod only replaces textures and does not edit shop_items.ymt, it should be compatible with popular mods such as WhyEm’s DLC, Catalogue Improvements, and many others. It could conflict with other mods that replace the same saddle or blanket textures.
Installation
Place the ‘Sauvy’ folder in your lml folder.
Requires Lenny’s Mod Loader.
