Most of the time when in a town the game will stutter (frametimespike) after a while, especially when slowing your horse after riding for a bit.
i tried to see if i could stop it from happening by editing some values in the gameconfig.
this fixed my stuttering issues, try it out.
my specs:
rtx 2080
ryzen 3700x
32gb ddr4 ram
2560×1440
im not technical at all and i found the tweaks happy go lucky so i would love other people to use this as a baseline to improve performance and remove redundant tweaks i made.
ill keep working on it and see if i can improve anything, just let me know if there are problems with it.
Edit: i found that mods that upscale textures ingame can cause stutters even with this mod installed.
Superchad SillyTube went ahead and tested every single one of the tweaks i made one by one, he found out that most of my tweaks had been redundant and that the only setting that makes the difference is this one: aiTextureMaxMem_3_Base it is now upped from 2500 to 90000, the rest of the edits have been removed in the new version.
