Allows Arthur to manually attach the lantern to his satchel or gun belt.
Works while travelling on foot, attached to your horse’s saddlebags or optionally a front harness while mounted.
This is a complete, from scratch remake of the Stash That Lantern 2.8 mod. It aims to fix all the bugs and issues of the original and works much more naturally with RDR2’s native controls, weapon states and animations for a more seamless overall experience.
Controls
Relit uses RDR2’s normal controls and automatically follows any custom key bindings.
Controller
B while holding the lantern – Stash it visibly on your satchel, or on your horse while mounted.
LB while holding the lantern – Put it away normally.
Tap LB while the lantern is stashed – Retrieve it.
Keyboard and Mouse
R(Reload) while holding the lantern – Stash it visibly on your satchel, or on your horse while mounted.
Tab while holding the lantern – Put it away normally.
Tap Tab while the lantern is stashed – Retrieve it.
With a Revolver or Pistol Drawn
When you have a sidearm equipped, retrieval moves to B / Reload so the weapon wheel control is left alone.
Fully loaded sidearm: press B / R to retrieve the lantern into your free hand.
Sidearm needs reloading: press B / R to reload normally. The lantern stays stashed.
Holding both the lantern and a sidearm: press B / R to stash the lantern again.
The lantern automatically moves between the player and horse when mounting or dismounting.

Installation
Download the zip
Move/copy the included STLR.asi and StashThatLanternRelit.ini and/or lml folder into your main Red Dead Redemption 2 folder, same folder as RDR2.exe
Remove the original Stash That Lantern 2.8
Launch the game and enter Story Mode.
Uninstall
Delete the files from your Red Dead Redemption 2 folder. The mod does not make permanent changes to your save.
