While Eagle Eye is active, use the Herbalist’s Eye ability to reveal nearby herbs and plants on the map for a limited time. The ability grows stronger as you progress in Herbalist Challenges, increasing both its duration and detection range.
Plants you’ve already discovered are labelled with their in-game name, while species you haven’t picked yet appear as Unknown, keeping the sense of discovery intact.
Exotic Orchids use gold markers and appear as Unknown Exotic until discovered.
Nearby plants in the same cluster are grouped under a single marker, preventing unnecessary map clutter.
How to use
Enter Eagle Eye and press Y / E to activate Herbalist’s Eye.
Nearby plants and herbs will be revealed on the main and mini-map for the duration of the effect.
Herbalist Challenge Progression
- Each single rank gradually increases each of these, maxing out at values similar to the fully upgraded Survivalist Map progression from RDR1.

Installation
- Download the zip
- Move/copy the included HerbalistsEye.asi into your main Red Dead Redemption 2 folder, same folder as RDR2.exe
- Launch the game and enter Story Mode.
Uninstall
Delete the files from your Red Dead Redemption 2 folder. The mod does not make permanent changes to your save.
