Ever wanted the West to actually feel lawless? This mod spawns rival gangs that erupt into full blown shootouts around you – pick a side and they’ll fight for you or stand back and let chaos take its course.
Installation Instruction
Make sure you’ve installed ScriptHookRDR2 V2 first (see Requirement).
Download this mod and unzip it.
Copy GangWar.asi and GangWar.ini
into your main Red Dead Redemption 2 game folder – the same folder that contains RDR2.exe and ScriptHookRDR2.dll
Launch the game and load into Story Mode.
To uninstall, just delete:
GangWar.asi, GangWar.ini from your game folder.
Features
7 gangs to choose from as your allegiance – O’Driscoll Boys, Lemoyne Raiders, Murfree Brood, Skinner Brothers, Del Lobo Gang, Laramie Boys or Random Gangs (a mixed pool of generic outlaws). Neutral is also available if you just want to watch the fireworks from a safe distance or get caught in the crossfire yourself.
Real allies, Pick an allegiance and win the fight – survivors on your side join your posse and follow you afterward.
Up to 30 fighters per side for genuinely chaotic all out warfare or keep it small for a quick skirmish.
Ambient mode with a real-world timer (5,10,15,30,45,60 minutes as well as 30 second chaos mode) to spawns random battles as you explore, so encounters never feel scripted.
Spawn a battle on demand wherever you’re standing or clear every fighter (including your allies) with one button.
Configurable via GangWars.ini – set your menu key (Default F2), default Ambient Frequency and whether Ambient Battles starts on or off, configurable gang spawn distance, configurable distance between gangs.
An option for unarmed gangs to enable brawling war.
