Bounty Hunting – Expanded and Enhanced – REWARD CRASH FIX V2.0

All credit to user SHIVTI. Fix successfully tested on Bounties Expansion 1.4.4 / RDR2 build 1.0.1491.50. Other users can test and report the result.

Bounties Expansion 1.4.4 – Reward Crash Fix
This patch fixes the ScriptHookRDR2 crash that can occur during the completion of a bounty.

Installation

YOU MUST HAVE THE ORIGINAL SHIVTI MOD DOWNLOADED.

Backup the

original BountiesExpansion.asi

Replace it with the

BountiesExpansion.asi

provided in this patch.

Open

BountiesExpansion/PoliceDepts.dat

with Notepad.

Backup this file.

Delete all lines from the file except the line

next_id=X

.
Save the file as

PoliceDepts.dat

.
Start the game normally.

Important: do not delete the

PoliceDepts.dat

.

Note: the procedure of clearing

PoliceDepts.dat

while keeping

next_id=X

is already recommended by the author of the Bounties Expansion to resolve problems related to the state of missions between saves.
