With a total length of 2.35km, the circuit features a mixture of technical corners, undulating terrain and generous runoff areas to allow competitors to test the limits of their machinery while minimising the risk of damage. The two directions of operation both have a unique character, providing their own sets of challenges to the competitors.
This circuit was formerly known as Wakefield Park, and was upgraded to offer new features and bi-directional racing (not at the same time).
This mod is my first effort with TreCorsa, and is relatively basic. It is functional, so I thought it worth sharing here for anyone who has been waiting for a version of the new layout. I had been waiting for an official version (and if it ever emerges I will gladly remove this one!), but everything has gone quiet on that front.
Known issues:
Physics surface is below visual surface on the ‘Slingshot’ final corner
No reverse (Shelley) layout
Pitlane timing is broken
Various visual glitches and oversimplifications
I have reached the extent of my knowledge/skill in improving this much further, so if anyone wants to re-work or improve it, please go ahead. Otherwise, happy driving!
