Hume Weir Race Circuit – Victoria
The Hume Weir Motor Racing Circuit was a short-lived but notable Australian motorsport venue located in an abandoned rock quarry adjacent to the Hume Weir dam on the New South Wales/Victoria border, approximately 20 minutes from Albury and Wodonga.
Operated from 1959 all the way up to as late as 1987 with a few little bike sprints and Alpine rally events. To be left abandoned, there was talks that the track was to no longer operate as the authorities of the Weir Wall instigated that it was shifting slightly. Earth movers pretty much used the big quarry soils to re strengthen the bank of the dam wall, barely not much is left of it today. Now with modern technology we’re able to drive it on Assetto Corsa.
This is a on going project, will be updating this map in the future.
*Please note* Lap times have an error; it just keeps running and doesn’t reset when you drive past the finish line.
Practice mode only.
Thanks for the support guys enjoy this fun track!
