The name of that car, Stratos, is said to be a coined word derived from the English ‘stratosphere’ or the Italian ‘stratosfera.’ It is also said to mean the fastest car on Earth up to the stratosphere.
Apparently, Lancia also means lance in English, so the design is a lance that can charge through gravel, snow, and tarmac roads.
