MCP4SH™ – String Theory Haptics for SimHub 0.9.5

String Theory Haptics for SimHub

If you have a rig and shakers, you’re going to want to try this. 😎

It’s a SimHub haptics system built on the MCP4H™ protocol haptic stack.

Telemetry gets translated into a coherently talkative chassis (weight, tyres, load, brakes, shifts), instead of feeling like a bunch of phones stuck to your frame.

String Theory Tensioner is the secret sauce; real-time prioritization & mixing so you feel what matters when it does; tension is continually felt, tyres scrape, impacts thud, drivetrain/ABS/TC shudders, shifts kick,… Available to test now.

Tested and works with:

Assetto Corsa (incl. Competizione, EVO and Rally)
AMS2
DiRT Rally 2.0
EA WRC
F1 series
RaceRoom (R3E)
iRacing
GRID
Forza
Project Motor Racing
Project Cars 2 … Out of the box. Barely* any tweaking needed.

If you try it: drop your game + amp/shakers + mounting and I’ll help you dial it fast.

The base setup includes effects profiles for both front/+/rear, and 3 output channel profiles, 1 for front/rear axles, 1 for pedals/backrest, and one for rear-mounted shakers only.

Other features:
Dedicated settings UI
FOV advisor (available in the dashboard)
Dashboard (with rear view mirror feature)
ST Haptics visualization overlays
Getting started info

Currently working on:
Global/per-game/session app launcher (auto-start other apps like LookPilot, CrewChief,…)
GT7 support (detailed)
Motion logic implementation (beyond the current basics)

Install notes
Rename the file to
MCP4SH_Setup*.exe (remove the .7z suffix or extract), then run the setup.

You may need to import the profiles manually via
My Documents / SimHub, or drag them onto the SimHub window.
