Explore the wilderness and discover abandoned campsites scattered across the map, inspired by the larger camps used by the Van der Linde gang throughout the story.
I always felt it was a little strange that the Van der Linde gang had such large, detailed camps while many of the other gangs were limited to a wagon and a few tents. Abandoned Campsites adds a handful of larger, more developed camps to make the world feel more believable and lived-in.
The camps are slightly hidden and placed away from the main roads, giving you a reason to explore and discover them naturally. Some camps also contain lootable money boxes, while others have nothing valuable left behind.
Each campsite is designed to feel like it was once occupied by a gang that eventually moved on, leaving behind whatever they couldn’t or didn’t want to take with them…
