Description
Highly accurate model, featuring working animations, tints, engravings & carvings! The main textures are meant to represent an older, yet functional firearm, one that shows use.
Update: There are now optional versions with smoother textures for those that wish to have that “new gun” feel and shinier metals!
Here’s the breakdown of each variant:
Original Percussion Revolver
Replaces Navy Revolver
MUST have one of the unlockers for the Navy Revolver. There are many, but I suggest Catalogue Improvements.
Reload animations work, however getting the handle/rammer to work 100% properly is just not possible at this time due to the animations being hard-coded via motion capture. Any attempt to adjust within the model throws everything off. They work pretty good overall, and I figure 75% of the accuracy is better than 100% of nothing! 🙂
Custom pearl grip
Engravings, carvings, tints etc work as they should.
Due to the loading handle, both barrel lengths are the same as the original. Making the barrel longer just looks ridiculous, and is nowhere near being accurate, so that’s why they’re the same.
Cartridge-Converted Revolver
Replaces Cattleman revolver
Reload animations are near 100% accurate.
This variant has 2 custom grips, the regular pearl grip, and the High Honor grip is made to suit my namesake, including a gold “M”.
An Optional “Man With No Name” High Honor grip is available as well, called the “Legendary Grip” in game.
Engravings, carvings, tints etc work as they should.
The trigger guard/grip frame are tintable separately from the main frame, and are linked to the Sight tint.
2 barrel lengths: 7.5 inch, and 5.5 inch.
Installation instructions
Both install using Lenny’s Mod Loader. Just drag/drop the main folder into your LML folder and you’re good to go!
Requirements
LITE, Catalogue Improvements, or any Navy Revolver unlocker needed for the Original variant.
