Slows down the bonding process with your horse so it feels more meaningful and immersive.
Did you know each horse breed and type in the game already has its own predetermined bonding speed? No? Well, now you do.
I always felt like bonding with a horse happened way too fast, especially next to how immersive so many other systems in this game feel. This mod slows that down, so the time you spend with your horse actually starts to feel like it means something. It’s a small change, but small things add up.
I didn’t touch the game’s own balance between breeds, so an exotic horse like the Arabian will still take longer to bond with than a trusty workhorse would.
What changes is the overall pace, and you can pick how much slower you want it: a flat 2x, a flat 4x, or a progressive version that stays “quick” early on and gets noticeably tougher the higher you climb in bond rank.
