This mod completely transforms the original Rally Wales experience into the Rally Chile (Biobío). Everything has been meticulously re-themed to bring the Chilean rally atmosphere to life, replacing original assets with regional details and custom textures.

This mod pairs perfectly with my custom Hyundai i20 skin, which is based on Ott Tänak’s livery from the 2024/2025 Rally Chile Biobío. Combining both mods will give you the ultimate Chilean rally immersion!
Key Features:
Complete Menu Overhaul: All original Wales menus have been replaced with Rally Chile themes, featuring custom background images, the official rally plate, and updated descriptions in the “Rally Selection” screen.
Custom Splash Screen: A brand new, dedicated splash screen has been added to greet you with the authentic Rally Biobío atmosphere as the game loads.
Game Modes Update: Free Practice, Events, and Challenges now feature replaced stages and variants inspired by the real Rally Chile, complete with descriptions in both English and Spanish. (Note: As a personal tribute to my late mother, one of the locations within the stages has been named “Maria Victoria” in her honor).
Immersive Environment & Props:
All trackside billboards and advertisements have been updated to match the Rally Biobío sponsors.
Spectators will now wave Chilean flags exclusively, regardless of the driver’s nationality.
Custom-skinned start gantries and authentic Chilean road signage have been added.
Emergency & Media Vehicles: The default emergency vehicles have been replaced with local Chilean counterparts, including the SAMU Biobío Ambulance, Bomberos de Chile (Fire & Rescue), and the MEGA TV News Van (Mega Deportes).
The Inspiration Behind the Base:The choice to use Rally Wales as the foundation for this mod was highly intentional. Many real-life WRC drivers have frequently compared Rally Chile to iconic events like Wales, Finland, or Australia. I took full advantage of these geographical similarities—such as the fast flowing roads through commercial forestry plantations, the specific gravel surface, and the similar damp, unpredictable climate—to deliver the most authentic atmosphere possible for the Biobío stages.
Trivia / Fun Fact:
The background image used for the Rally Chile menu has a great story behind it: it is a real photograph that Ott Tänak himself took in Chile during the recce (reconnaissance). He usually takes photos during recce and clearly has a fantastic eye for it! To make it match the game’s original menus, an AI was used to stylize the image and blend it perfectly into the game’s art direction.

IMPORTANT NOTES (Please Read Before Installing):
Language Choice: The mod comes in two separate versions: English and Spanish. They are independent and cannot be installed together. You must choose and install only one version.
Geographical Coordinates: Please note that despite my absolute best efforts, I was unable to locate the file controlling the map’s coordinates. Because of this, the internal geographical coordinates still point to Wales in the Northern Hemisphere.
Texture Side Effects: Because this mod replaces shared textures, some visual assets (such as certain prop vehicles or generic trackside barriers) might also change or appear affected when playing other rallies in the game. This mod is highly focused on providing the ultimate and dedicated Rally Biobío experience.
To install the mod, just copy the .pak .utoc and .ucas files to acr\Content\Paks folder
To uninstall, just delete the same files.
