The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is a 7.004-kilometer (4.352-mile) race track, making it one of the longest circuits used in professional motorsport. It features 19 turns, a blend of high-speed sweeping curves and tight technical sections, all complemented by dramatic elevation changes of over 100 meters (328 feet).
The layout is a mix of long straights and challenging corners, demanding a balance of aerodynamic efficiency and mechanical grip. Its substantial length and varied design allow for diverse weather conditions to occur simultaneously on different sections of the track, adding a unique layer of complexity to races. This distinctive combination of size, turns, and topography has solidified Spa-Francorchamps as one of the most revered circuits in the world.
