AC Rally car setup manager by Sheldor 1.1.6

Hi,

my hoster with the database has a problem at the moment.. cloud up/down load not working (16.08.2026)
ok service online again

with this tool you can export and import car setups in AC Rally.
This way you can share car setups with other players.

now with online sharing function since 1.0.6

for the #unknown uploader now, please update the tool and upload one more setup, your player name should be updated to all setups you uploaded. If not you can contact me.

please backup this file
(C:\Users\\AppData\Local\ACRallySetupManager\ settings.json)
this tool uses it to recognize you in the cloud of this tool .. so it can see what setups you uploaded .. so you have the option to delete your setups again ..
this file can be lost if you reinstall windows

please leave a comment and/or also a thumb if up or down, if you tested a setup, you can also comment your own setups, you uploaded, so others know something more before trying, you can also add a youtube link in the comment if you have a video to the setup

important ! if you import a setup while game is running , well it works, but i don’t recommend it, and you will have to restart the game anyway to see the new setup !

current version 1.1.6 of this tool works with AC Rally version 0.5.1
with next AC Rally version tool might stop working until I update it ..

The tool has now cloud upload and download option.
With time I hope the database will have enough carsetups for all cars and situations…

The tool exports also the car setups as .json files,
you can import the .json files of other players, while import you can choose what car setup you want to import,
one .json file can have multiple car Setups.
This .json file option sharing is if you want to share carsetups private with somebody..

You need to have at least one car setup saved in AC Rally, doesn’t matter what car !
the tool adds car setups and needs an existing car setup, so it can append after it the imports.

This tool is still fresh and it is possible that it has bugs or not working for some reason.
When importing, it backups the carsetup file in your AC Rally carsetup… .sav Folder, but to be sure backup your “acr” folder with your savings on your own.

I don’t want you too loose any data !!!

inside the zip file is already one .json file with some of my car setups, so you can test it .. you can also download some using “cloud download” option
I did not put much effort in making the most of these setups, I used my web-tool for it .. in this car setup manager is a button on top that opens my web tool in your browser, you can build own setups with the help of the web-tool.

I like my Skoda gravel carsetup , it has Sheldor in the setup name 🙂
It is for me perfect .. the only one setup I finished I think..
