Clothing Tint is an in-game trainer for editing the palette and tint values used by RDR2 clothing, hair, and facial-hair components.
The mod includes a library of tintable vanilla items, letting you recolor supported items without manually editing textures or rebuilding game files. Open the trainer, select an item or detect what the player is currently wearing, and adjust its palette and three tint channels live in-game.
Note: In the wardrobe, there may be a brief flicker where the raw texture colors are visible. I’m still working on getting rid of it.
Main features
▫️ Edit supported clothing tints live.
▫️ Includes some personal recolors of items (tricorn hat, newboy hat, rodeo hat, union shirt). An original database is also available.
▫️ Edit Tint 0, Tint 1, and Tint 2 individually or adjust all three tint values together.
▫️ Browse the included library of vanilla tintable items
▫️ Detect supported tintable components currently equipped by the player
▫️ Save custom swatches separately for each item.
▫️ Open the trainer using Shift+Alt+F10
The item library currently includes many items from categories such as:
▫️Hats
▫️Hair
▫️Facial hair
▫️Union Shirt
▫️Other supported tintable clothing components
The Equipped Clothing section scans the player’s currently worn components and lists the ones that support tint editing.
You can:
▫️Save the current palette and tint triplet
▫️Name the saved swatch
▫️Apply it again later
▫️Overwrite an existing saved swatch
▫️Delete saved swatches
Custom swatches are stored in:
Sauvy_ASI\Clothing Tint\User\Custom Swatches
Optional ASI Texture Modules
Clothing Tint also supports custom texture and model replacements designed specifically for the ASI.
These modules are installed inside:
lml\Sauvy\Sauvy – ASI Textures
The ASI automatically detects which supported folders are installed and only enables their related trainer entries.
I plan on adding more items in future updates. Requests are welcomed.
