Dispatch

This mod remakes the RDR2’s dispatch response system and includes improvements to the law enforcement AI.

Lawmen:
In an ordinary town, the Sheriff and Deputies are present. If a major crime occurs, they will request backup from the Rangers and U.S. Marshals. However, their numbers are limited. If you kill all of them, they will give up the chase for a period of time.

In St. Denis, the most prosperous area of the RDR2, the police force is nearly limitless. After committing a major crime, U.S. Marshals won’t arrive immediately—they only enter the city when the situation spirals completely out of control. If you manage to kill a significant number of lawmen, the military will eventually take over, and you’ll face an endless stream of soldiers.

Each region features distinct combat styles and characteristics.
In Strawberry, some ranchers will provide reinforcements to lawmen.
In Valentine, lawmen are often accompanied by canine.
In Annesburg, player must contend not only with Jameson’s guards, and lawmen will also deploy snipers at a higher probability.
In Rhodes, they hired more deputies
In MacFarlane’s Ranch, they formed dedicated town posse to keep peace.
If you break into Fort Wallace, the army will respond directly and hunt player down.

The vast wilderness of Ambarino, lacking any significant settlements, relies on the rangers as its main lawkeeping force. To cover the expansive territory, they patrol here in greater strength.

Army soldiers, prison guards and Annesburg mine guards will now can order player to surrender, not just shoot.

Bureau of Investigation will respond in Blackwater. (only 1907)

The Tall Trees and Great Plains regions are now fully under the jurisdiction of the Blackwater County Police, just like in RDR1. Meanwhile, Caliga Hall has been taken over by the Scarlett Meadows Sheriff’s Office.

Law dog now have unique map blips. Law dog uses a red animal blip.

Law patrols have been intensified. It’s common to see them riding in troop wagons, in big cities probability have mounted unit patrol. In the wilderness, there’s also a chance to spot deputy marshals transporting prisoners.

The law response to train robbery is significantly slower than that of vanilla games.

When a player is wanted, civilians sometimes follow lawmen and shoot player.

Outlaws:
The relationship between the law and the gangs is no longer one of indifference. They now hold a strong dislike for gangs and will shoot to kill if they witness them committing crimes. If face The Murfree Brood and the Skinner Brothers are treated with even greater hostility—lawmen will put bullet in them on sight.

Some smaller gangs no longer appear as “Stranger” The Night Folk, Saint Denis Mob, Micah’s Goons, and Foreman Brothers now have their own names.

Gang attributes are now unique to each faction, no longer are they all identical, you’ll feel the distinct differences in their combat styles, behaviors, and their health value, and each gang has its own unique weapons and weapon modification preferences.

Gangs no longer fear the law.

Bounty Hunters:
More diverse bounty hunter ped models.

When player’s bounty reaches $500 or more, bounty hunters will enter the town to pursue player.

Some settlements will have bounty hunters pursuing player, like MacFarlane’s Ranch and Ridgewood Farm.

Crimes:
Peds need more time to accuse you of following them. deputies won’t eject you for lingering in a law office unless it’s the Sheriff or Police Chief themselves. Furthermore, the timer for being asked to leave has been increased from 30 seconds to 60 seconds.

Refines the crime charge displayed. like murder a lawman, which was previously displayed simply as “Murder” in the vanilla game, will now be specifically shown as “Murder Lawman”.

In areas outside big city, the law tends to ignore to minor crime, in big city if you commit a minor crime, nor would there be any witnesses to report it, unless you crime in front of the lawman, but law will simply ask you to leave the area.

The bounty amounts for each crime have been revised.

Misc:
Overhauls the law badge textures, and adding more law peds.

Lawmen in each region have different dress styles.

Most ped models in the jailbreak cutscenes have been improved.
Rhodes jailbreak cutscene law ped has changed as a normal deputy, not Archibald MacGregor.
Blackwater jailbreak cutscene law ped has changed as a deputy marshal, not blackjack dealer.
St. Denis epilogue jailbreak cutscene law ped has changed as a police sergeant, not normal officer.
Also fixed some jailbreak cutscene peds model duplicate.

In St. Denis and Blackwater’s random encounters for public hangings lawmen models has been changing them from rural deputies to the appropriate police force.

Improved and changed some ambient peds, like the Chinese labourers in Blackwater, Nils in Manzanita Post, and restored a cut Rhodes undertaker.

Improved US Army and Fussar’s military equipment.

The dialogue between peds and player has been improved to reflect changes in honor. If a player’s honor is very high, peds will not accuse player of causing trouble as they do in the vanilla game. some peds may even greet the player in a very friendly manner, indicating that they hold the player in greater respect, conversely, if a player’s honor is very low, only some timid peds will not accuse player of causing trouble, suggesting that the peds are more fearful of the player. But for outlaws, high honor will not make outlaws treat player with greater respect, only low honor will prevent outlaws from speaking rudely to player.

Night and adverse weather conditions have a greater impact on ped’s perception, such as hearing and seeing range.
Lawmen are less affected by night related seeing range loss than the normal peds.
