Blood Moon is a dramatic, cinematic ReShade crafted for Red Dead Redemption 2, inspired by dusk skies, supernatural tension, and the
quiet violence of the frontier. It drenches the world in deep crimson
shadows, muted gold highlights, and rich contrast, giving every
landscape a haunting, end-of-days atmosphere—like the world is holding
its breath under a rising red moon.
Blacks are heavier and more immersive, colors are intentionally
desaturated except for warm reds and ambers, and lighting feels sharper
and more cinematic, perfect for storytelling screenshots, intense combat
scenes, and moody nighttime rides. Blood Moon transforms RDR2 into a
darker, grittier vision of the Wild West—beautiful, ominous, and
